To work as part of the inpatient physiotherapy team, assisting physiotherapists with the rehabilitation of patients. The role involves ensuring all physiotherapy departments, hydrotherapy treatment, ward and physiotherapy storage areas are clean and prepared for use, and that all equipment is available, clean and ready for use. Administrative tasks include accurate data collection, printing operation lists and notes, collecting and filing patient records, making appointments, faxing, photocopying, ordering and maintaining stock levels, and documenting health and safety checks for the department and physiotherapy areas. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join a dynamic, friendly and supportive team. The role will carry out both clinical and non‑clinical duties, mainly on the wards of the adult inpatient orthopaedic team, but may also involve musculoskeletal outpatients and hydrotherapy on occasion, and participation in the weekend rota.
