You even have the option to buy an extra week Birthday Delight: Take your special day off to celebrate YOU Free Parking Health & Wellbeing programme; including critical illness insurance The Role Scope You be responsible for the effective management of a shift in our outbound warehouse with duties including but not limited to: ✨ Running daily team meetings and conducting regular 1 to 1 meetings with Supervisors ✨ Working with agency partners to flex labour requirements to meet demand ✨ Dealing with any staffing issues across the shift ✨ Evaluating operatives to enhance their KPI performance, development and work productivity ✨ Addressing performance issues and making recommendations ✨ Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are clear, monitored and strictly followed ✨ T o monitor and ensure that all relevant shift target KPIs are achieved through effective management and labour resources ✨ To develop a multi-skilled team of colleagues and support a succession plan through training, coaching, delegation and feedback ✨ To maintain the auditability and traceability of M&M product movements ✨S upport the ‘Continuous Improvement’ culture on site by seeking improvements within the operation to maximise efficiencies and drive an increase in productivity ✨ To ensure the efficient and effective achievement of all operational targets and key performance indicators ✨ Communication with carriers to ensure service and assets align with customer promise About You ✨Great proven experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain sectors ✨To be a strong team player and natural at motivating others ✨Proven previous experience as a manager, involving sizable teams ✨The ability to train, coach, and mentor others ✨Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) ✨The ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks ✨To be a quick thinker with a problem solving attitude who makes effective decisions in a fast paced environment.
