In this key position, you will be primarily responsible for renewing and selling service maintenance contracts to our valued customers. In addition, you will provide vital administrative and sales support to the Internal Sales team, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the department. Job Role The Internal Sales Executive is an essential role that ensures seamless sales operations by providing administrative support to the sales team. The job entails creating service contract documents and successfully chasing customers to sign, or renew and entering these into our field service system. You will also work closely with our Area Sales Managers to put their service contract quotes together and chase where necessary. You will manage sales-related documentation, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining accurate sales records. Exceptional customer service is necessary for the Internal Sales role, as they handle customer inquiries, orders and provide assistance. Key Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and Customie Service Contracts and Sales Documents : Create accurate, well-formatted service contracts, quotes, and renewal documents that comply with internal policies and legal standards. Partner closely with the sales team to tailor proposals for specific customers and sales opportunities. Deliver High-Quality Customer Support : Serve as a knowledgeable first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat—providing timely information on products, services, pricing, and orders. Ensure seamless hand-offs to appropriate sales representatives when needed. Order Management and Fulfilment Coordination : Oversee the complete order lifecycle in NetSuite—from entry through to fulfilment—by coordinating cross-functionally to meet delivery timelines and proactively keeping customers informed of their order status. Customer Data and CRM Management : Maintain accurate customer and lead records in NetSuite, including inputting new contacts, updating existing information, tracking sales activities, and leveraging data analysis to uncover trends and opportunities for growth. Enhance Customer Relationships and Drive Growth : Provide outstanding customer service by resolving concerns effectively and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, fostering long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty. Sales Team Support and Invoice Resolution : Provide administrative support to the sales function, including resolving queries related to contract-based invoicing and assisting with various ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth operations. Process Improvement and Strategic Contribution : Actively identify operational inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to improve sales processes, streamline workflows, and boost productivity. Participate in the “Marginal Gains” initiative to continuously refine sales strategies and stay current with industry trends and product knowledge. What We Need You to Have Strong Teamwork & Cross-Functional Collaboration Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Modern CRM Platforms Previous experience in a fast-paced Sales Support or administrative role, demonstrating reliability and efficiency in day-to-day operations. Prior experience engaging directly with customers, either in-person or through phone/email/chat channels, is highly valued. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and details with ease. A passion for delivering outstanding service and exceeding customer expectations.
