High Growth Global Technology Company are looking for a Remote Solutions Engineer – Cloud Data Platforms.
What you'll be doing:
* Serve as a technical leader within the pre-sales team, partnering with Account Executives to drive customer value across the full sales cycle.
* Conduct in-depth technical discovery to understand prospects’ Cloud Data Platform environments, cost challenges, and business objectives.
* Own and deliver end-to-end Proof of Value (POV) exercises, ensuring successful technical outcomes aligned to prospect requirements.
* Tailor and present compelling platform demonstrations addressing specific use cases and concerns.
* Build robust business cases and ROI analyses that quantify cost savings and performance improvements.
* Act as the internal subject matter expert on the platform, ensuring optimal prospect outcomes and seamless implementation.
* Take full ownership of the technical win, guiding prospects through evaluation and building confidence in the solution.
* Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences with polished presentations and live demonstrations.
* Translate customer pain points and feature gaps into structured, technically credible feedback for Product and R&D teams.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within internal systems to track performance and engagement metrics.
🎯Essential Skills
* 6–10 years of experience as a pre-sales Solutions Engineer at a B2B SaaS company within the Cloud Data Platform ecosystem.
* Pre-sales solutions engineering experience in the broader data ecosystem (e.g., data integration, reporting tools such as ThoughtSpot or Sigma, data cataloguing).
* Proven experience addressing Cloud Data Platform or cloud cost management challenges for organisations using Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
* Track record of creating compelling business cases and ROI justifications for enterprise prospects.
* Exceptional sales skills with knowledge of best-practice methodologies (e.g., Command of the Sale, Challenger Sale) and the ability to run effective trials, demos, and RFP processes.
* Deep technical knowledge of Cloud Data Platforms with demonstrated expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and associated best practices.
* Strong blend of sales acumen and technical depth, with the ability to engage credibly at both executive and practitioner levels.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience delivering content to diverse audiences from technical teams to C-suite.
