We have a vacancy for an Inside Sales Person to play a key role in selling our company’s products.

The role:
The successful candidate will support the Sales team with customer enquiries, lead generation, and overall division growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Raise sales quotations in response to customer requests and from external Sales Managers.
2. Take ownership of quotations and follow through to conclusion, including necessary follow-up actions.
3. Respond to customer enquiries on a technical level via telephone, email, and other sources to support sales activities.
4. Maintain accuracy in daily processes while working within tight timelines.
5. Provide prompt responses to customer queries regarding Gauge Selection, Accessories, Instrumentation, and Bonding activities.
6. Act as the customer's voice within the business, aiming to exceed expectations and develop relationships.
7. Own arising issues, ensuring investigation and timely resolution.
8. Perform Business Development activities from lead generation to closing or handing over to external sales managers.
9. Identify market opportunities and target accounts and sales prospects.
10. Support external sales managers with leads, opportunities, and appointment creation.
11. Generate and report documentation in line with customer and internal expectations.
12. Proactively engage with non-trading, existing, and potential customers to support external sales activities.
13. Stay informed on industry trends, standards, market insights, and innovations to advise the sales team and support our market leadership in Strain Gauge Technology.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
1. A degree in electronics or mechatronics, or a minimum of two years’ experience in a technical sales role within a B2B manufacturing or distribution environment.
2. Ability to work well in a team and prioritize tasks effectively.
3. Willingness to take on new challenges and develop within a demanding environment.
4. Knowledge of Strain Gauge technology and Data Acquisition systems is an additional benefit.
