This is a front-line role where you'll be responsible for creating a welcoming first impression while ensuring a safe and secure environment for all visitors, staff, and stakeholders.Working as part of a two-person reception and security team, you'll deliver exceptional customer service while supporting site security through access control, monitoring, and liaison with key site contacts.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome and sign in visitors, issuing passes and managing guest records in line with GDPRMonitor site access, CCTV, and entry/exit points using a controlled access systemMaintain site security, reporting and escalating any suspicious activityManage reception duties including calls (via Teams), meeting room bookings, and diary coordinationAct as a key holder, opening and closing the building as requiredKeep reception and meeting spaces clean, organised, and fully stockedProvide administrative support, including ordering stationery and coordinating cateringArrange taxis, pool vehicle bookings, and support site visits and client meetingsSupport the Facilities Manager with the day-to-day operation of the buildingRespond flexibly to ad-hoc requests and represent the business professionally at all timesAbout YouExperienced in a busy, professional reception or front-of-house environmentStrong customer service and communication skillsHighly organised with good attention to detail and timekeepingComfortable working independently as well as part of a small teamConfident using IT systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, and access control systemsCalm, discreet, and professional when handling sensitive or secure situationsDesirableExperience working in a lockable or secure facilitySIA Licence (or willingness to apply upon offer)Prepared to undergo UK Security ClearanceFull training will be provided.
