Overview
First Military Recruitment is partnering with a leading International Defence company to recruit an Apprenticeship Coach (Vehicle Mechanics) on a permanent basis, due to company growth. The role is fully remote, with travel to various sites including Southampton, Portsmouth, Thorney Island, Tidworth, Chichester, Aldershot, Windsor, Sandhurst, Bovington, and Bulford.
Note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, which may become permanent at the end of the term.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.
Responsibilities:
* Assess learner work and activities, providing feedback on progress and ensuring all relevant paperwork for induction and training is completed and communicated to administration and relevant offices.
* Deliver training to support learners' successful completion of apprenticeship units.
* Conduct training and coaching reviews with learners periodically, following ESFA and company guidelines.
* Complete all necessary apprenticeship paperwork, ensuring proper communication with administration and relevant sites.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Extensive experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic fields.
* Experience in supporting and delivering Apprenticeship Programmes, including assessment, lesson planning, training delivery, and implementing training solutions.
* Understanding of Equality & Diversity principles.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good administrative skills.
* Ability to effectively liaise with military personnel at all levels, from soldiers to senior officers.
* Military sector experience is preferred.
* Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
* An assessor qualification is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.

* Salary: £36,400
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours/week
