Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:45am – 17:00pm & Friday 07:45am – 12:45pm

Role Summary
As a Graduate Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support the design and manufacture of products across industries including power generation, nuclear, hydro, public arts, architecture, food & pharma processing machinery, packaging equipment, shopfitting, fabrication, landscaping, and design.
You will gain hands-on experience in product design, manufacturing, and laser cutting processes, while sometimes assisting with manual handling tasks (lifting or moving items up to 15kg).
Key Responsibilities

Support the manufacturing team using the ERP system for purchasing, stock control, pricing, and work instructions.

Assist with scheduling and load-planning from order receipt to final delivery.
*
Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding specifications, lead times, drawing approvals, quality, and delivery schedules.
*
Develop estimating and sales order processes to improve efficiency.
*
Use AutoCAD Inventor and AutoCAD 2D to support production and engineering for design, reverse engineering, and manufacture of laser-cut parts.
*
Assist operators with machine programming, troubleshooting, or maintenance as required.
*
Deputise for the Laser and Laminations Production Manager when needed.
*
Identify market opportunities and contribute to process, product, and service development.
*
Adhere to ISO-9000 quality management procedures and work instructions.
*
Analyse inspection results and assist manufacturing and quality teams with problem-solving.
*
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with regulations.
Personal Specification
*
Engineering graduate.
*
Computer literate with strong skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and data analysis.
*
CAD proficient (3D solid models and 2D manufacturing drawings); AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Inventor preferred.
