Job Description
3. Manage and oversee all financial reporting and month end activities.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
5. Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for review by senior management.
6. Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimise financial performance.
7. Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
8. Collaborate with other departments to support business planning and decision-making processes.
9. Identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements within the organisation.
10. Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Qualified by Experience
12. Proven experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
13. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
14. Proficiency in financial software and tools.
15. Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
16. Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations.
