We focus on achieving successful outcomes by focusing on staff and student mental health and wellbeing and delivering excellence.
We are proud to be opening our brand-new SEND Connect Centre, a bespoke learning hub designed to provide tailored education and support for students with moderate to severe learning difficulties, typically ASD and Global Developmental Delay.
The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our bespoke curriculum and making a real difference to the lives of students across KS2–4.
You will:
* Teach small classes of up to 8 students (with a 4:1 ratio of staff to students).
* Deliver a personalised curriculum, enabling students to make strong progress.
* Support integration into our core provision where appropriate.
* Contribute to the development of innovative teaching approaches within our new centre.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
A specialism in English, mathematics or science, or experience delivering ASDAN courses, would be an advantage, though not essential.
About You
We are seeking a teacher who:
* Has experience teaching students with SEND and a strong understanding of inclusive practice.
* Is passionate, patient, and committed to ensuring every student reaches their potential.
* Brings creativity, flexibility, and resilience to their teaching.
* Is excited to be part of a school that is growing, evolving, and striving to be the number one school of choice in the South West.
Why Join Kingsley?
* The chance to shape a brand-new SEND provision within a progressive school.
* Small class sizes with exceptional staff-to-student ratios.
* A supportive and passionate team environment.
* Ongoing professional development and opportunities to innovate.
* A unique location on the beautiful North Devon coast – a community that embraces outdoor learning, creativity, and a fresh approach to education.
