We are seeking a capable PMO professional to join the Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) PMO team in a support‑focused role. This position provides day‑to‑day PMO support across multiple client engagements, helping to maintain effective delivery as demand continues to grow. The PMO function operates across ten core processes, including financial management, planning, reporting, resource capacity management, change control, RAIDE management, governance support, communication, induction, and PMO administration.
Hybrid working
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre‑employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and an unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your role
As a PMO support team member, you will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) PMO Team and report to a PMO Manager. Responsibilities include:
* Providing PMO support across Service Introduction, planning, resource management, and account communications, helping to keep key activities organised and on track.
* Maintaining and updating organisation charts, knowledge repositories, service manuals, and other PMO documentation.
* Supporting governance reporting, project financial tracking, and a range of administrative PMO activities as required.
Technologies
Essential: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Teams; MS Project.
Desirable: SharePoint.
Your skills and experience
* Strong analytical and numerical skills, with some financial experience.
* Self‑motivated with experience working in PMO roles supporting large programmes.
* Strong communication skills, particularly when explaining complex issues.
* Team management experience and familiarity with client‑facing environments.
* Experience with project financials.
* Advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power BI).
* SharePoint experience.
