Maintenance Manager - Shoreditch House, East London
Overview
Role to manage the maintenance team and oversee day-to-day maintenance requests across the site, working closely with the Operations Coordinator and General Manager.
Responsibilities
* Direct the maintenance team to complete and document all daily tasks and checks.
* Ensure all job-related paperwork is completed and signed off.
* Control estate energy management systems and ensure services are used efficiently daily.
* Help develop and implement standard operating procedures across the site.
* Promote customer-focused maintenance support that is responsive and of high quality.
* Oversee the daily job list and delegate tasks accordingly.
* Assist with recruitment of new team members when required.
* Ensure maintenance staff have up-to-date training and oversee their progression.
* Ensure all works are carried out within budget.
* Manage team rotas to ensure sufficient maintenance staffing at all times.
* Manage external contractors on site, ensuring health & safety, security measures, and site etiquette.
* Maintain good relationships with Heads of Department to ensure maintenance requirements are met in each department.
What We Are Looking For
* Up to 3-5 years’ experience in a trade/maintenance background.
* Relevant qualifications in any trade skill would be desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external).
* Strong attention to detail.
* Organised and reliable.
* Ability to work and maximise relationships within a diverse team.
