Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Rehabilitation Support Worker to join a specialist case management and rehabilitation company providing support work, case management, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and medico legal services to children and adults across North East England, North West England and Scotland.
Responsibilities
* Support with mobility and day-to-day living, encouraging access to the community and social activities.
* Work in the client’s home and in the community, including frequent trips to coffee shops and social outings.
* Assist with prompts around personal care, social and leisure activities.
* Administer medication as directed and follow therapy programs set by physiotherapists.
Role Context
This temporary role is to cover sick leave. The length of service will be discussed at interview.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience in the same or similar role.
* Full UK Driving licence is essential.
* Training to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience e.g., completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course).
* Role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).

They are committed to the continuous learning and development of all staff. All new starters participate in peer-reviewed induction through probation, as well as ongoing supervision. They provide bespoke in-house training, as well as sourcing specialised client-specific training.
