 
        
        Community Integrated Care is currently seeking a skilled Regional Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Specialist Practitioner.
Overview
As the Regional Lead in Positive Behavioural Support, you will be key to monitoring and improving the quality of life for the people we support across the East Midlands (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire) and Yorkshire.

Responsibilities
 * Shape Positive Behavioural Support through coaching and mentoring.
 * Reinforce the importance and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans.
 * Integrate evidence‑based interventions to meet individual needs.
 * Liaise with other clinical specialists.
 * Undertake functional assessments.
 * Collaborate with teams to develop and evaluate intervention plans.
 * Provide advice and guidance to managers, support workers, advanced support workers and families.
 * Keep up‑to‑date with best practice via literature reviews and attendance at conferences.
 * Lead the development and implementation of restrictive intervention reduction plans.
 * Identify opportunities for further PBS training and support the multi‑disciplinary team to maintain high standards of practice.
 * Deliver bespoke PBS and Active Support training across the service.
 * Remain flexible with working hours and travel as required.
Qualifications & Experience
 * Level 5 qualification relevant to PBS, willing to work to level 6/7.
 * Extensive experience working with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism who display behaviours of concern.
 * Experience of conducting Behaviour assessments within a Positive Behaviour Support Framework.
 * Experience in reducing the use of restrictive practices and interventions.
 * Experience working within multi‑disciplinary teams.
 * Experience delivering training, workshops and/or teaching adult learners.
 * Experience leading individual and team de‑briefs.

 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external agencies.
 * Ability to travel primarily across the region and occasionally further afield.
