The Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire, challenge, and support pupils to achieve their potential. You will be expected to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters both academic excellence and personal growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Planning and teaching a varied and balanced KS2 curriculum with a focus on core subjects including English, Maths, and Science.
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, using data effectively to inform teaching strategies.
* Establishing a positive classroom culture with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best practice across the school.
* Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have substantial experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils (minimum 3 years).
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage learners.
* Are reflective practitioners committed to continuous professional development.
