Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation within our premises. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless, comfortable, and welcoming, contributing to an excellent guest experience. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial roles is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Duties
* Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
* Change bed linens and towels, replenish amenities and supplies
* Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as required
* Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
* Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
* Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and cleaning equipment
* Assist with laundry duties when necessary
* Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
Experience
* Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry is desirable
* Janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good communication skills and a professional attitude
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
