We have a great opportunity for skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers and Class 2 Drivers to join our Plant Operations division. As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of plant and power equipment, ensuring everything arrives securely and in excellent condition. Your experience in safe driving, equipment handling, and customer service will play an important role in supporting our operations and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. How you’ll make an impact: In this vital logistics role, you’ll contribute to the smooth running of plant deliveries by: Safely operating company Class 1 and 2 HGV vehicles to transport plant and power equipment to and from customer sites Supervising the safe loading and unloading of equipment, ensuring secure transport and proper placement Liaising with site managers and customers to confirm access requirements, delivery protocols, and security arrangements Navigating a wide range of customer sites with care, following site-specific rules to minimise disruption and maintain safety Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks to ensure reliability and prevent avoidable delays or downtime Following all company safety policies and legal transport regulations to protect yourself, the public, and your team Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional image when representing Jarvie Plant on-site What makes you a great fit: You’re a reliable and safety-conscious driver with the qualifications, knowledge, and attitude to deliver an exceptional service. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: Valid LGV Class 1 (Category CE)/ Class 2 (C) licence with HIAB (required) Low Loader experience, HIAB Ticket (preferred) Driver CPC qualification with up-to-date training Valid Digital Tachograph card Strong understanding of EU driving hours and tachograph regulations Experience operating side loader vehicles or willingness to be trained A strong safety focus and professional attitude on and off-site Experience of construction site deliveries is highly desirable A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and adapt to varying site conditions Why join Jarvie Plant?
