Job Description
As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with an NHS Trust in Warrington to find an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist who will be based in the Haematology Pharmacy department. This role will include providing a clinical pharmacy service to haematology patients, clinically verifying haematology prescriptions and developing new chemotherapy protocols on the Trust’s electronic chemotherapy prescribing system, ward cover and undertaking governance work for the specialty.
Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful Hospital Pharmacy teams in the country. This role is ideally full-time working Monday to Friday, 8.45am-5pm, asap until July 2026 (Maternity Cover).
Requirements
* Valid GPhC Registration
* Post graduate Diploma/MSc in relevant field or demonstrate advanced professional practice, knowledge and training
* Significant post registration experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in a relevant field within a Hospital setting (UK) or evidence of transferable skills
* Independent prescriber or evidence of completing the “preparing to prescribe” requirements of the NES post registration foundation programme.
* Full UK Drivers license and access to a car
* Right to Live and Work in the UK
