At Restore Datashred, we help protect sensitive information by destroying confidential waste safely and efficiently – and we’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to be part of our mission
Based at our South Kirkby site, you’ll play a key role in processing waste materials, keeping our warehouse in top shape, and operating our shredding and baling machinery. No two days are the same – one day you might be on the forklift, the next helping with collections – but safety, security, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do
What you’ll be doing
Loading and unloading confidential paper and materials from vehicles
Completing daily, weekly and monthly checks on machinery and warehouse equipment
Operating shredding and baling machinery safely and in line with compliance standards
Reporting any machinery, equipment or vehicle defects to your supervisor
Following all health, safety, environmental and manual handling procedures
Using a counterbalance forklift or JCB telehandler truck safely in a busy environment
Keeping your workspace clean and tidy to maximise efficiency
Assisting Service Collection Operatives with customer collections when neededWhat we’re looking for
High standards for health and safety
A team player with the ability to work independently when needed
Flexible and calm under pressure
FLT Counterbalance or JCB Telehandler experience
Recycling or confidential waste experience is desirable but not essential – we’ll train you
First Aid or Fire Marshal certificates are a bonus – training can be providedSome of our benefits include:
