Role Description

Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor site performance against set KPIs and develop improvement plans
2. Establish workplace health and safety programs and conduct training sessions
3. Analyze safety metrics and incident trends to allocate resources effectively
4. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with health and safety laws and address identified risks
A Day in the Life
You will be stationed at one of our sites, possibly a sortation center, overseeing processes and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. By identifying potential issues and areas for enhancement, you will collaborate with various teams to enhance safety measures and efficiency.
About the Team
As part of the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team, you will contribute to Amazon's success by optimizing transportation operations through air, sea, and road transport. The ATS team, known for its diversity and efficiency, plays a key role in driving innovation and ensuring safety in all operations.
We are currently seeking candidates for positions in Bardon Hill, LEC, GBR.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ5 (or in progress) or equivalent certification
* Understanding of UK Environment, Health, and Safety legislation
* Proficiency in verbal and written English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with Lean, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies
* Experience in planning or managing environmentally conscious initiatives
