Move with us for a better world The Role in a Nutshell We are seeking a driven and energetic field-based Sales Account Manager to join Ben and the team, based in and covering the North of England. The successful candidate will ideally be located central to the patch or on the outskirts of one of the major cities, with strong Northern UK access routes. The role sits within our Health, Corporate & Performance team, selling into current and prospective education, medical, sports and uniformed services accounts. Schools & University facilities make up the majority of the current portfolio with the successful candidate continuing our growth through the 'Health & Performance' areas. In the commercial market we are premium and aspirational. Our salespeople are consultative and sell through value and story-telling, assured by our brand, quality, innovation and Total Wellness Solutions. Teamwork and relationships are key to delivery. Technogym salespeople are hungry, highly professional, industry credible, collaborative, develop and maintain strong relationships and manage a large portfolio of products, services and solution - of course underpinned by a passion for fitness, wellness and sports. If you have sold into education or uniformed services before, you will be aware that their sales and procurement processes can be complex and involve tendering. With this in mind, the successful candidate will have high attention to detail and will work closely with our Tender Bid Manager on the tender details, management and submissions. What you will do Manage ongoing close client relationships - know their business, their needs and their people Customer first Ensure the very best wellness experience Achieve and over-achieve sales targets within your assigned sector Create/request and present CAD visuals (full training provided) Market management and fulfilment of sales pipeline/productivity measures in line with the Company sales code Identify consumer leads and sales through B2B2C opportunities and consumer networks Keep up-to-date as a product and solutions expert Ensure a premium customer experience, attending all relevant installations Manage relationships to win contracts outside of Tenders and collaborate with the Tender Bid Manager on Tender responses Collaborate with different business functions to deliver the Total Wellness Solutions Collaborate with finance for proactive customer credit collection CRM and quotation tool management, with clean and up-to-date market data Execute weekly pipeline management reviews to maximize conversion rate (refuse to lose) and provide reliable forecasts Research and feedback on market/segment/territory trends What you will have Experience of working into education, desirable but not essential At least 2 years' sales experience as Sales Account Manager or similar Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Sports & Exercise Science or equivalent - desirable but not essential Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions (Tender/Procurement experience is a plus) Consultative selling approach and negotiation skills Resilient prospector/business developer knowledge of fitness product use and physiological benefits Solid experience with CRM software (knowledge of Salesforce is a plus) Strong social media, IT proficiency and digital skills Excellent listening, communication and presentation abilities Hunger and results-driven mentality - 'Refuse to lose' Passion and optimism Team player and collaborative Independent and organised Curious problem solver Loves Technogym products and solutions Passion for Sports, Fitness and Wellness Technogym is an Equal Opportunities Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
