This isnt your average support job. You wont be stuck resetting passwords all day.
Youll be the go-to for all things IT and infrastructure across a growing managed services provider. They're already delivering hosted VoIP, broadband, cloud and M365 to a loyal base of business customers across the UK. Now they need someone technical and ambitious to step in and own the support function.
Youll handle support across internal systems and external clients. Fix the problems. Improve the process. Build the structure. And when it makes sense, start building a team around you.
What youll be doing Running the day-to-day support across hosted services, VoIP, broadband, firewalls, cloud and Microsoft 365
Dealing with escalations, complex issues and hands-on fixes
Spotting gaps in process and tools, then making changes that actually stick
Supporting internal users and making sure the whole place runs properly
Creating simple, useful documentation
Working directly with the Technical Director and getting stuck into new ideas and improvements
What you'll need Strong experience in IT support, ideally within a telecoms, ISP or MSP environment
Confident across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, remote support, and basic networking
Comfortable with firewalls, routers, switches and hosted VoIP platforms
Good problem-solving skills and able to work without being micromanaged
Clear communicator, calm under pressure and organised when it matters
Bonus points for Experience with 3CX, Horizon or similar hosted VoIP systems
Microsoft, CompTIA or ITIL certs
Having worked in a business where youve had to wear a few hats
