As our Plant Fitter you are responsible for all plant maintenance and repairs along with the completion of relevant paperwork. You are required to ensure that all equipment is in good working order, services are carried out at correct intervals, required parts are ordered and repairs are carried out within an acceptable timescale to minimise downtime. The position is based mainly at our Corpach workshop but occasional visits to customer sites may be needed so a full driving licence is essential. Working alongside our small versatile team clear communication regarding repairs and availability of fleet items is essential to enable the smooth running of our workload. It will be important to learn our existing practices and procedures and any training required will be provided. You are responsible for the allocation of duties to the Yard Assistant and ensuring that all tasks are carried out satisfactorily and safely. Working hours - 47.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
