About the Company: Level 3 Electrical Control Draughtsperson Standard We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Draughtsman to join our design team. As an apprentice, you will learn the technical and practical skills required to create accurate drawings, blueprints, and technical plans under the guidance of our General Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and begin a career in drafting and design. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (Sketch up). Interpret sketches, specifications, and engineering data to produce technical drawings. Revise and update existing drawings as required. Maintain drawing files and documentation in an organized manner. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and senior draughtsmen to understand project requirements. Participate in site visits or measurements (as needed) to support design work. Learn and apply relevant industry standards and drafting practices. Support the team with other design-related tasks as assigned. Requirements: Good mathematical and spatial reasoning skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication and time management skills. Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory): Exposure to engineering, architectural, or construction drawings. Familiarity with software such as Sketch up. Understanding of materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes (for mechanical/electrical draughtsmen).
