We're on the lookout for a passionate, experienced, and driven Registered Manager to take the lead in our newly opening 3-bed EBD Children's Home. About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring it delivers the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance in line with Ofsted regulations. You'll be central to building a strong, child-focused culture, developing your own team, and embedding a therapeutic, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Leading the home's registration with Ofsted and maintaining full regulatory compliance
* Recruiting, mentoring, and managing a new staff team
* Creating a safe, supportive, and therapeutic setting for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
* Driving continuous improvement to achieve Good and Outstanding Ofsted ratings
* Collaborating with local authorities, external professionals, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes
* Overseeing safeguarding, quality assurance, and risk management across the service
* Leading with transparency, compassion, and high expectations
What We're Looking For:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or currently working towards it)
* At least 2 years' experience in a management or deputy role within children's residential care
* In-depth knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding practices, and care planning
* A strong leadership track record with the ability to inspire and develop a team
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
