Key Responsibilities
* Produce accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical installations on a range of commercial and industrial projects.
* Review technical drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare comprehensive tenders.
* Source and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost efficiency.
* Identify value engineering opportunities and provide alternative solutions where beneficial.
* Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders during the tendering process.
* Stay informed of current market rates, industry trends, and materials pricing.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction sector.
* Strong background working on projects in the education, healthcare, commercial, student accommodation or industrial sectors.
* In-depth understanding of electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarms, security, and data.
* Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and work effectively under deadlines.
