About the Opportunity
Jacobs Nuclear is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the Programme and Project Partners (PPP). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.

As a result of an increasing portfolio of projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Process Engineer to join the team based out of Birchwood, Warrington.
The role will lead a team of Process engineers in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering design work (specification, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering) that achieves safety, functional and business requirements, through Detail Design and into Construction of a major project
Responsibilities will include;
1. Oversee process design delivery (provide technical leadership) collaborating with the project Engineering Manager and other discipline leads to meet project milestones.
2. Prepare schedules and estimates for process engineering on the project
3. Support the safety case production
4. Ensure adherence to all procedures, standards and project systems as required, to support effective and efficient performance
Here's What You'll Need:
5. SQEP Lead Process Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
6. Chartered Process Engineer
7. Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of an engineering schedule to quality and cost
8. Experience of managing a team of internal and external engineers within an integrated project environment.
9. Experience of programme, estimate and resource profiling to provide robust project estimates.
10. Extensive knowledge of the operation and function of process plants.
