My Client, prides themselves on ensuring that all their or chemical products adhere to local and international regulations. We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Officer who will play a crucial role in maintaining our clients product compliance and supporting their global operations.
The Regulatory Affairs Officer will ensure that all products comply with applicable regulations by providing timely responses to compliance inquiries and advising on best practices for existing and upcoming requirements. This role is vital for our international business operations and involves accurate classification and labelling of products.
Monitor and review specific chemical regulations and respond to compliance enquiries.
UK REACH Compliance : Verify that all relevant substances comply with UK REACH regulations by specified deadlines.
IUCLID Data Preparation : Prepare IUCLID data sets for substances requiring my client to make a UK REACH registration and ensure timely submission based on annual import quantities.
SVHC Monitoring : Track the list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and ensure compliance of my client’s products; Liaise with the Technology Innovation Management (TIM) and Sales Teams to provide necessary regulatory information.
Review products and raw materials to ensure they comply with chemical regulations.
Assess upcoming regulatory changes that may affect sales and procurement.
Identify relevant standards and norms that benefit our markets and products, aligning them with our strategic focus and legal requirements.
Compliance
Bachelor’s degree in toxicology, chemistry, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in regulatory affairs, particularly in EU REACH, CLP, and BPR.
Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
Hours : Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
Initially required to work onsite at the Bridgwater site to learn about the company and role requirements, with a potential for hybrid work after probation
Travel : Some travel to other client locations and for training courses (expenses reimbursed). Some European and possibly international travel as well so must hold Valid Passport

The successful candidate will need to undergo a personality test at interview stage and a DBS check at the offer stage.
