Secondary Care – Dermatologist Consultant (Permanent)
We are seeking a committed Dermatologist to participate in our outpatient clinics across Cumbria and Lancashire. The role will involve diagnostic and surgical procedures, autonomous prescribing, and community clinic care.
Key Duties
* Conduct clinical triage for dermatology referrals and provide thorough assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and advice for acute and chronic conditions.
* Perform minor surgeries, including excision of low‑risk basal cell carcinoma, following national guidelines.
* Conduct audits of clinical standards and contribute to clinical leadership.
* Provide comprehensive, systematic patient assessments, including consideration of lifestyle impacts.
* Participate in tele‑dermatology clinics to review patient images and establish appropriate care pathways.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high‑quality patient care.
Role Requirements
* Full GMC registration.
* MRCP or equivalent.
* Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care in a community clinic setting.
