We're actively recruiting for a Field Engineer to deliver network infrastructure solutions. The role exists to install infrastructure, and on occasions remedy infrastructure failures at customer sites. Join us in shaping the future of connectivity! Your passion for configuring, installing and troubleshooting networking equipment and “can-do” attitude will be your most important attribute, but the following experience will also help: Worked within a customer-focused environment Experienced in configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment Conversant with principles and standards for Passive Optical Networks (PONs) and Point to Point networks with reference to Fibre to the Home (FTTH) and fibre to the premises installations Installation, acceptance test and fault find of Cat 5/6, multi/single-mode fibre systems equipment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Location : Greater London and Surrounds Contract : Full Time, Permanent Salary : £40,000 to £45,000 (depending on experience) Key Benefits: Pension, Private Medical Insurance, Health Cash Plan, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and an extra day for your birthday, Discounted dental and gym schemes, Voucher scheme, Cycle to Work, Life assurance, Quarterly values awards, Holiday buy-back scheme Right to Work in the UK Applicants must have a permanent right to work in the UK at the time of application. Your role as a Field Engineer Glide’s technology solutions and unwavering focus on customer experience transform the way people live and work, and you will be a critical part of that. A typical day might include: Attending customer sites requiring site activations/provisions of services, wireless surveys and technical and infrastructure fault calls Working onsite with the customer and Glide Delivery Team supporting their project delivery, conducting wireless surveys, liaising with 3rd parties on customer sites and internal operational teams Resolving faults to our customers’ satisfaction, updating key internal stakeholders and providing commission and wireless testing reports Configure, install and replace network equipment Conducting and producing accurate WI-FI coverage test surveys and reports according to the company procedure Sounds good, right?
