Credit Hire Recoveries Manager
We are pleased to be partnering with a specialist claims business in South Norfolk, to find an experienced Recoveries Manager to lead its credit hire recoveries function.
This is a hands-on, operational role where your leadership, communication skills, and focus on performance will make a tangible impact across the business.
The role is full-time and ideally office-based, though there is some flexibility for remote working. The salary is up to £45,000pa.
The Role:
As Recoveries Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the credit hire recoveries team, overseeing financial performance, operational delivery, and client and insurer relationships.
You’ll manage both in-house and remote colleagues, ensuring that recoveries are processed quickly, accurately, and with the highest standards of service. You’ll also support strategic improvements to claims processes and play a key role in how the wider function evolves.
This is a practical, leadership-focused role with a strong people management element.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & People Development
* Lead and develop a team responsible for the recovery of credit hire invoices
* Provide day-to-day supervision and longer-term development support
* Carry out appraisals, training and coaching to improve team output and quality
* Support more complex matters with tailored advice and guidance
Operational Oversight
* Monitor cash recovery performance, team productivity, file counts and settlement levels
* Ensure all monthly reports are accurate and delivered on time
* Maintain a strong pace of progress across all invoices and claim files
* Attend regular management meetings to report on key performance indicators
Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as a central point of contact for internal colleagues, clients and third-party insurers
* Communicate clearly and professionally across a wide range of stakeholders
* Ensure service levels and partner expectations are consistently met or exceeded
About You:
You’ll be a confident team leader with a background in credit hire, insurance or claims management. You’ll understand the nuances of recovery and have the organisational skills to keep multiple priorities moving at once.

* Strong people management experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in recovering credit hire invoices and understanding of supporting case law
* Excellent attention to detail and reporting accuracy
* Clear, confident communication with internal and external stakeholders
* A proactive, solution-focused approach and a willingness to lead from the front
