Firrhill High School serves the area of South West Edinburgh. In partnership with our five associated primary schools Bonaly, Colinton, Pentland, Longstone and Oxgangs, we strive to "Provide learning opportunities of the highest quality. We are one of the largest schools in Edinburgh with a roll of pupils and staff. Modern Studies is a hugely popular subject at Firrhill with very high levels of attainment. Having grown in popularity very quickly Modern Studies is now a well-established and very successful part of the curriculum. In addition to being part of our core curriculum RMPS is offered at examination level and is a subject where we want to grow interest and further increase the uptake as an elective subject beyond the BGE.
