We're seeking a Stakeholder & Public Liaison Advisor to join our team for a major infrastructure project in the Chester area. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the local community, working closely with residents, businesses, and partners to deliver meaningful social value and engagement.
The role is based in/around Cheshire and the Wirral and you will be working on site or in the community 3-4 days a week.
This is a 2 year fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
* Lead stakeholder engagement for the Cheshire project, ensuring local residents, businesses, and community groups are informed and involved throughout delivery.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with challenging stakeholders, including local businesses and residents.
* Plan and deliver social value activities that leave a lasting, positive legacy.
* Manage communications, organise local engagement events, and act as a trusted link between the project team and the community.
You will work with our Stakeholder & Social Value Manager, Project Managers, and wider delivery teams, as well as key customers and partners, including local authorities, community groups, and schools.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Good level of written and spoken English (Essential)
* Current valid UK Driving Licence (Essential)
* DBS Check or ability to obtain one (Essential)
* Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in Community Engagement, Social Value, Communications, or Project Management
* STEM Ambassador / EDI qualification (Desirable)
