Job Title: Super Wizard/Witch (Duty Manager)
Reports to: Site Manager
Scope of Job: Responsible for the effective day to day running of The Potions Cauldron Outlet. Maximising profit through a pro-active approach to operational issues and people management as well as a consistent delivery of brand proposition in terms of customer service, Guest Experience and a safe working environment.
Key Objectives:
* Effective day to day management of shop/attraction via use of standards checklists and monitoring on-site activity.
* Ensure designated cash handling and reporting procedures are consistently enforced.
* Duty Managers must ensure that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities.
* Duty Managers should work with the Site Manager to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and Guest experience whilst delivering sales targets set by the business.
Main Responsibilities:
Operations
· Day to day management of The Potions Cauldron Outlet via use of standards checklists and monitoring on-site activity.
· Assist the Site Manager in stock management. This may include a weekly stock order.
· To submit The Potions Cauldron Outlet monthly reports which include, but are not limited to, banking sheets, petty cash requisitions, first aid checks, legionella, temp probe tests, wastage, safe counts and stocktakes.
· To manage The Potions Cauldron Outlet team and ensure procedures and policies are followed and act as part of that team on shift whilst performing your additional duties.
· To ensure that the shop/attraction is presented and maintained to company acceptable standards in all areas at all times in order to consistently pass monthly audits with a 90% or above score.
· Execute all required Health & Safety measures.
· To feedback comments, propose training needs and operational changes in order to continually improve the delivery of the experience.
· Ensure that all administration and paperwork for remit of this position are up to date, signed and checked on a weekly/ monthly basis.
· Ensure the highest standards of accurate and efficient cash handling procedures; check floats, check safe, monitoring staff and customers during transactions, banking and cash security.
· Assist the Site Manager in monitoring staff appearance, conduct and welfare.
· To act as Duty Manger as and when the business needs dictate, by overseeing and co-ordinating efficient operation of the shop/attraction. Take ownership of any obstacles to the smooth running of the building and follow through to resolution.
· Duty manager responsibilities and additional responsibilities could be extended to events and functions, which include late evening or nights.
· Hours will comply with the operational needs of the visitor attraction/shop including weekends, bank holidays and evenings
· To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as reasonable required by your line Manager based on the changing needs of the business.
· To be available to work as and when the business needs in any department

Pay: £12.92 per hour
