Potensis is proud to partner with a leading developer who, due to an increase in workload are looking for a proactive and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide exceptional administrative support to the Managing Director and board of Directors. In this role, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of departmental operations, contributing to the overall success of the business through efficient and effective support.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Managing Director to manage day-to-day tasks such as preparing reports, handling correspondence and incoming post, managing diaries, meetings, and emails.
* Prepare and format letters, memos, Board reports, schedules, and other documents, following up where responses are required.
* Liaise effectively with colleagues and departments across the business to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
* Monitor departmental expenditure and assist with cost management.
* Carry out general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and responding to telephone enquiries.
* Act as the main point of contact for group functions, as applicable.
* Maintain accurate holiday and sickness records for the department.
* Oversee the Director’s diaries and scheduling.
* Provide ad hoc administrative support to other departments as required.
1. About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in an administrative or personal assistant role.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Mail Merge).
* Excellent written English and the ability to draft professional correspondence independently.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
* A calm, efficient approach under pressure and great attention to detail.
* A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude.
* Confident and courteous communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
