About the Role
Berkeley Scott is seeking experienced Chef Managers to join schools, colleges, and other educational establishments. This is a fantastic opportunity for chefs who are passionate about delivering nutritious, high-quality meals in a professional and structured environment.
As a Chef Manager in Education, your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing kitchen staff
2. Planning, preparing, and cooking balanced meals for students and staff
3. Ensuring full compliance with Food Safety and Allergen Regulations
4. Managing stock control, budgets, and ordering
5. Maintaining excellent hygiene and health & safety standards
Requirements
6. Previous experience as a Chef Manager or senior chef role
7. Valid Enhanced DBS
8. Food Safety Level 2 & Food Allergy Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
9. Strong organisational and leadership skills
10. Ability to adapt to the education catering environment
