We're looking for two enthusiastic Lecturers in Agriculture to join us on a part‑time, sessional basis. This role offers flexibility—just let us know your availability in your application.
Our College boasts nearly 500 hectares of commercially farmed estate, including arable crops (wheat, oats, oilseed rape, grass), sheep and beef enterprises, and an extensive range of agricultural machinery with specialist workshops.
What you'll be doing:
* Teach and train students and client groups to high standards
* Tutor and manage courses or student groups
* Develop agricultural courses and participate in quality monitoring processes
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (pro rata for part‑time)
Location: Northamptonshire
What we're looking for:
* Experience and sound knowledge of arable, livestock, and farm machinery
* Educated to HNC level or equivalent vocational experience in agriculture
* Passion for farming and latest sector developments
* Additional qualifications (e.g., NPTC Tractor Proficiency, PA certificates, telehandler operation) are a plus
* Willingness to work towards a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education)
* GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English & Maths
* Commitment to ongoing CPD
