About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Auditors to join a growing nationwide metering team. This role plays a key part in ensuring that dual fuel metering installations meet the highest safety, quality, and customer service standards.
You’ll be responsible for conducting field and desktop audits, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting continuous compliance and performance across regional operations.
Job Responsibilities:
* Carry out on-site and desktop audits of dual fuel meter installations to ensure full compliance with company and industry standards.
* Evaluate engineer performance, focusing on Health & Safety, technical quality, and customer service.
* Identify and document non-conformances, providing feedback and recommendations to field teams.
* Support training, coaching, and technical development initiatives for engineers.
* Produce clear, accurate audit reports and submit findings within agreed timelines.
* Collaborate with management to improve field operations and maintain audit consistency.
* Stay current with MOCOPA, SMICoP, and Gas Safe standards and other regulatory requirements.
* Promote a strong culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Professional and Personal Attributes:
* Minimum 4 years’ operational Dual Fuel experience and/or 2 years’ experience as a Dual Fuel Auditor.
* Recognised metering qualifications (MOCOPA, CCN1, MET1, and Smart Metering certification).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to deliver constructive feedback confidently.
* High attention to detail and strong commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction.
* Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with digital audit tools.
* A collaborative, professional, and safety-conscious team player.
* Three-phase metering experience is an advantage.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within assigned regions.
