An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Retail Security Officer to join Kingdom Group, working at a shopping centre site in Bedford, MK40 area.
We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Security & Safety Officer to ensure the safety and security of our shoppers, tenants, and staff. The ideal candidate will prevent incidents of theft, vandalism, and anti-social behaviour, while coordinating timely responses to emergencies and maintaining a safe environment at all times.
Hours: On average, 40 hours per week, covering a range of shifts between 06:00am- 00:30am
Pay: £13.19 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the safety and security of shoppers, tenants, staff, and property.
* Prevent and respond to theft, vandalism, and anti-social behaviour.
* Conduct daily security patrols, both internal and external.
* Perform opening and closing security checks.
* Respond to emergencies, including fire, medical, or evacuation situations.
* Follow incident reporting procedures and maintain accurate records of accidents and incidents.
* Liaise with police, emergency services, and other relevant authorities as required.
* Conduct fire safety inspections and participate in fire drills.
Person Specification
* A valid SIA licence or applied for.
* A full five year checkable employment history.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* An ability to work as part of a team.
* An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach.
* IT skills
