Marketing Manager Witney - Oxfordshire £35,000 - £40,000 As Marketing Manager at Turn IT On, you will lead the development and delivery of proactive, insight-led marketing strategies that drive commercial growth, elevate brand visibility, and position TIO as a leading name in education technology and managed services. This is a standalone role that brings increased strategic responsibility. You will be expected to take ownership of marketing direction, advise leadership on opportunities and gaps, and implement initiatives. Working cross-functionally across departments, and collaboratively with the wider Transforming Learning Group, your work will directly support new business, customer retention, and brand influence across over 1,200 schools and trusts. This role reports to the Commercial Manager and is based from the Witney office in Oxfordshire. Key Responsibilities Marketing Leadership Design and lead the annual marketing strategy aligned to business objectives, sales targets, and service growth priorities. Advise the senior leadership team on market positioning and underutilised opportunities. Own the marketing and social media calendars and ensure initiatives are proactive and aligned to company priorities. Plan and execute targeted, multi-channel campaigns with a strong focus brand recognition. Align campaigns with product and service opportunities. Brand Development & Digital Content Evolve and maintain TIO’s brand identity across all channels, ensuring clarity, consistency, and differentiation within the EdTech and MSP market. Develop compelling narratives for services, case studies, sector insights, and thought leadership. Manage updates and adherence to brand guidelines across internal and external materials. Oversee website structure, SEO optimisation, and user experience improvements to enhance engagement. Manage and grow social media presence (e.g. LinkedIn), using content and engagement strategies aligned to sector trends. Commission or create blogs, videos, infographics, and marketing collateral that communicate TIO’s value proposition. Sales & Business Development Support Develop sales toolkits including updated service brochures, pitch decks, and customer success stories. Work closely with school development and commercial teams to ensure marketing is actively supporting their goals and company growth. Contribute to bid submissions through tailored content, visual branding, and presentation formatting. Event & PR Management Lead TIO’s presence at key sector events including planning, branding, logistics, and post-event follow-up. Manage PR efforts including award submissions, media mentions, and cross-partner marketing. Organise and promote customer workshops, training events, and community engagement opportunities. Lead the planning, promotion, and execution of recruitment marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including social media and company websites. Essential Skills & Experience Minimum 4 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally within the IT, MSP, or education sectors. Proven experience in marketing strategy creation. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for visual communication and design consistency. Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and a track record of marketing led business impact. Confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across diverse teams. Desirable Experience marketing to schools and multi-academy trusts. Understanding of GDPR and data privacy in marketing context. Exposure to bid support. The role is offered on a full-time, full year basis. In return, we are offering a salary of between £35,000 - £40,000 negotiable for the right person.
