The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, fault finding, and emergency repair of production machinery, utilities, and site infrastructure. The role requires a strong focus on food safety, hygiene, and Health & Safety compliance, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous production. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and packaging equipment Respond promptly to breakdowns and complete effective emergency repairs Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and basic PLC faults Maintain cold storage, blast freezing equipment, boilers, air compressors and refrigeration systems Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety, hygiene and legal standards Maintain accurate maintenance records and support internal and external audits Coordinate and supervise external contractors working on siteCandidate Requirements The ideal candidate will be a proactive and reliable maintenance professional with experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
