About the Role
As a CAD Engineer at NOV's Fiber Glass Systems (FGS) division in Plymouth, you will be an integral member of the CAD Team within the Advanced Design and Manufacturing (ADAM) Engineering Services.
Your role will focus on producing high-quality 3D models and drawings to support project delivery, including technical support across business areas, drafting, reviewing, and assisting in the development of internal procedures. You will collaborate with sales, project managers, and clients to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* Produce professional-grade models and fabrication-ready drawings
* Support sales through CAD sketches and client interactions
* Contribute to Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and process improvements
* Align drawings with project order requirements and material specifications
* Provide technical support to cross-functional teams and external clients
* Mentor and train team members within NOV FGS Plymouth
* Maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) from models and drawings
* Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Business Management Systems (BMS)
* Track and log work hours as required
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
* GCSE (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science
* Intermediate-level CAD software proficiency
* Strong attention to detail
* Effective communication skills
* Team-oriented approach
Desirable:
* Degree-level education
* Advanced CAD proficiency
* Experience in the construction industry
* Knowledge of PX fabrication procedures
