Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and forward-thinking HR Advisor to join our People Services Team. In this role, you'll deliver high quality HR support and advice to managers and employees, helping to shape a consistent, professional people service across the organisation. The available post is offered on a permanent basis based at Service Headquarters, working full time (37 hours per week) and offers a Grade 6 salary starting at £38,220 (gross) per annum.
Responsibilities
* Provide clear, professional HR advice on employee relations, policies, and terms and conditions.
* Manage your own caseload, supporting managers with performance, absence, and informal casework.
* Build strong relationships with managers, offering guidance and coaching.
* Support investigations and formal processes, including notetaking and advising at hearings.
* Collaborate with HR Business Partners to deliver a consistent HR service.
* Act as an escalation point for HR Coordinator and Assistant queries.
* Analyse HR Data (e.g. via iTrent) to identify trends and support action planning.
* Support job evaluation processes and organisational change activity.
* Contribute to HR projects, training delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Keep up to date with employment law and best practice.

A confident HR Professional with strong communication skills, sound ER knowledge, and the ability to manage a varied workload. You'll be collaborative, solutions-focused, and committed to delivering a high-quality HR service.
