Description
Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training, ensuring employees are fully aware and trained on all required health and social care training in accordance with company and regulatory expectations.
Esland offers a blended learning approach, and as a Learning & Development Partner, you are expected to support and be involved in its design.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as part of the wider people and culture team in designing and delivering health and social care training to employees.
* Ensure smooth training events by being organized, timely, and well-presented; arrange course administration in advance; ensure all equipment and materials are available and in good condition.
* Manage assessments and evaluations of training, producing reports and recommendations for the Head of Learning & Development.
* Maintain accurate records of all courses delivered using HR and Training systems.
* Liaise with services to ensure effective communication and meet current and changing needs.
* Keep abreast of new legislation and registration requirements.
* Research updates in your subject area and work with external agencies to ensure best practices.
* Adhere to health and safety standards and promote equality and opportunity in all activities.
* Reinforce Esland’s values through all learning activities.
* Train colleagues and managers on Train the Trainer workshops for quality assurance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Understanding of good practice, legislation, and policy trends in Children’s Health and Social Care.
* Knowledge of mandatory subjects and qualifications in the sector.
* Experience with learning management systems (LMS).
* Training/teaching qualification.
* Effective communication skills across various settings.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Experience as a trainer in Children’s Health and Social Care.
* Resource management and administrative skills.
* Flexible, eager to learn, and committed to personal development.
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum. Benefits include 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, paid induction, career development opportunities, and various employee benefits schemes.
