Job Description
3. Process and maintain accurate financial records, including invoices and payments.
4. Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
5. Support the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
6. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
7. Assist in preparing VAT returns and other statutory filings.
8. Provide administrative support for the finance team as needed.
9. Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
10. Respond to internal and external financial queries in a professional manner.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
11. A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
12. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
14. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
15. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
17. Relevant educational qualifications in accounting or finance.
