This part-time position for the 2025-2026 school year in Rhode Island involves working collaboratively with educational professionals to implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver physical therapy services aligned with students Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
* Conduct timely assessments and develop or update treatment plans.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and school staff to ensure integrated support.
* Monitor, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required.
* Maintain pliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Valid Rhode Island Physical Therapist license.
* Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with effective munication abilities.
Location and Terms:
* Position based in a Rhode Island K-12 educational setting.
* Part-time contract role for the 2025-2026 school year.
* Work hours to be determined.
* Hourly pay ranges from $40 to $60.
