Learning and Development (L&D) is a key enabler of our strategy within the Audit Stream and is critical to our success. It supports our ability to attract, develop, and retain talented people who take pride in their work and deliver results.
Effective L&D requires specialist resources to identify training needs and respond appropriately. It involves careful planning, project management, a strategic mindset, understanding regulatory requirements, and leveraging the latest tools and technologies to develop relevant and timely learning solutions.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Manager / Senior Manager or equivalent to join our Learning Development team. The role involves supporting current initiatives and shaping future L&D strategies during a growth phase. This role reports to the Development and Monitoring Lead (DAM).
The Learning Development team designs and curates content to meet learner needs and deliver business outcomes, working closely with subject matter experts and utilizing innovative design methodologies.
The successful candidate will lead a portfolio of programs, review content, coach junior team members, and support initiatives like our Learning Library and Learning Culture programs.
Candidates should have practical audit experience, a solid understanding of financial reporting, ethics, and professional conduct. Experience in designing technical learning content and formal design qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
Location is flexible across the UK; travel to London and other offices will be required.
You will be responsible for:
* Developing impactful content that meets learner needs and business goals
* Reviewing content created by others to ensure quality and consistency
* Building and maintaining relationships with SMEs
* Supporting program delivery through project management and facilitation
* Designing and creating technical and non-technical learning content
* Coaching and developing team members
* Collaborating with stakeholders to translate learning needs into effective content
* Leveraging innovation and technology in learning design
* Supporting strategic initiatives and advocating for change
Required skills and experience
* Manager/Senior Manager level with experience in program development, especially technical and audit content
* Proven experience in content authoring and review
* Knowledge of the latest design thinking, tools, and technology
* Strong relationship-building, influencing, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, coaching others
* Experience with behavioral change or cultural programs is a plus
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Understanding of business strategy and a focus on quality
