Job Role
We are seeking a Portfolio Delivery Manager to fill a maternity cover vacancy for approximately 12 months, building on and developing the structure and delivery that has been put in place.
In this role, you will be instrumental on ensuring the successful completion of specific, individual project objectives, managing the interdependencies, priorities, and performance of a whole portfolio of change initiatives.
Dependent on experience we are open to this role being between 3-5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities + Experience
Project Delivery
Lead projects from early planning through to launch and rollout
Work with cross-functional teams to agree on requirements, timelines, milestones and dependencies
Bring together people from across the business to make sure work is prioritised and delivered on time
Keep everyone informed with clear updates, well-organised documentation and tracked decisions
Plan and manage different types of launches, including pilots, phased rollouts and full releases
Working with Teams & Stakeholders
Be the main point of contact for questions, updates and alignment on projects
Spot potential issues early and make sure they reach the right people quickly
Build strong, positive working relationships across teams to support successful delivery
Ongoing Improvements & Post-Launch Work
Help set up and support ongoing work after a project has launched, where improvements and updates are still needed
Clarify what this ongoing work includes and who owns it
Make sure teams stay connected and aligned as this work continues
Required Skills & Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a Portfolio Delivery Manager or similar role.
Experience bridging the gap between business requirements and technical designs.
Excellent English communication skills.
Excellent analytical, planning, and prioritisation skills.
