Role: Warehouse and Stock Control Manager
Location: Working across both Castleford and Pontefract
Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00
Salary: Competitive (plus an annual bonus)
Position type: 12 – 14 month FTC
We are on the hunt for a ‘Warehouse and Stock Control Manager’ to come and join our happy world of HARIBO within a 12-14 month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a sweet seat within our Supply Chain team where you will play a crucial role in overseeing our impressive warehouse operations, stock accuracy of our factory and warehousing operations, alongside the day-to-day management of the system interfaces to our 3PLs. This could be your opportunity to make a sweet wave within confectionary by leading a team to deliver efficient and industry leading receiving, warehousing and distribution services!
Within this role you will report directly into our Tangfastic Head of Logistics, and you will play a vital role in supporting our impressive Warehouse Supervisors plus their teams as well as our talented Stock Controllers. It doesn’t get any sweeter than this!
How you’ll contribute to the mix:

1. Strategically and efficiently managing the warehouse in compliance with company policies and procedures
2. Managing the daily stock reconciliation process between HARIBO and 3PL systems
3. Liaising with other members of Operations and Supply Chain to manage SAP related issues
4. Providing daily, weekly and monthly reports
5. Ensuring all health and safety and manual handling policies are adhered to at all times
6. Enhancing operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews
7. Coordinating inventory transfers between departments and maintaining the storage area
8. Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory by supervising monthly and quarterly counts
9. Keep equipment operating by trouble shooting breakdowns and organising repairs where necessary
10. Acting as an advocate of continuous improvement through reviews and new method implementation

If you have impressive distribution or warehouse experience as well as management capabilities this could an opportunity to enhance your expertise even further with this not to be missed role!
Are you a SAP guru and have top notch competencies navigating all Microsoft office and stock control programmes? Have you had exposure to coordinating interfaces with 3PL systems?
