Professional Development Group Facilitator (Clinical)
Location: Plymouth (other sites in Torbay or Taunton may be considered).
Salary: Hourly rate £69.05.
Contract: Temporary, based on academic year, with potential review after first year.
Job Details
The position will initially be a one‑year post, with the possibility to continue depending on curriculum needs.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate 2 small group sessions for the same year group per year.
* Provide paid administrative time for session planning and assessment.
* Act as academic tutor for up to 5 individual students.
* Lead Professional Development Groups focusing on reflective practice and professionalism skills.
* Attend continuing professional development and annual in‑service training.

Qualifications
* Physically and medically qualified, GMC registered.
* Currently or recently (within 4 years) practising in the South West locality.
* Interest in education and experience of teaching.
* Experience in small group facilitation desirable.
Additional Information
Working from home is not accommodated due to the nature of the role.
Preferred sites include Plymouth (John Bull Building near Derriford Hospital). Applicants should indicate preferred days and sites when applying.
